Pawel Malinowski
Paweł Malinowski (b. 1994) is mainly interested in recreating previously existing musical material into different contexts, camp aesthetics and ordinary stories about daily life.
He won Grand Prix during 58. Tadeusz Baird Young Composers Competition (2017) and in December 2017 he was awarded the prize of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland for the best students.
His works were performed during Musica Electronica Nova (Wrocław 2016) Örebro Contemporary Music Festival (2016), Elementi (Kraków 2016, 2017, 2018), Ostrava New Music Days (2017), PULSAR (Copenhagen 2018), International Festival of Krakow Composers (2018), Ferienkurse für Neue Musik (Darmstadt 2018) and others.
Currently, he is doing Master programme in composition under prof. Wojciech Widłak at Academy of Music Krakow and Simon Steen-Andersen and Niels Rønsholdt at Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus.
