Júlía Mogensen

Júlía Mogensen studied at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts and the Guildhall School of Music as well as in Berlin. She has performed or collaborated in various projects and with a wide range of artists within the classical area as well as in other fields including Björk, Sigurrós, Damian Rice, Curious Chamber players as well as in leading orchestras and ensembles in Iceland. She is a co-founder of the ensemble KÚBUS that seeks to collaborate with artists from different fields and likes experimenting with the traditional concert form. Júlía has been a member of the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra since 2013.
