Júlia Cavaller Triay is a Spanish flautist born in Ciutadella de Menorca, Spain. She holds a Solist degree from The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus (DEN), a Master’s degree in Orchestra and Flute Performance from The Maastricht Academy of Music (NETH) and a Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance from the Conservatori Superior de Música del LICEU (SPA), where she graduated with the highest marks. During her career as a performer, she has received support from Talent Ib, La Caixa Fund, Augustinus Fonden, Kulturministeriet, William Demant Fonden and Knud Højgaards Fond. She has won competitions and awards at home and abroad such as the first prize at the Concurs Juventuts Musicals de Menorca, the flute award of honor in Conservatori Municipal de Barcelona and the first prize in the DJM annual competition (2019) together with Patricia Martín González (Aura Duo). She has been finalist of the Concurs Juventuts Musicals de les Illes Balears, International Competition les Corts and Arjau. Júlia has performed in different festivals, orchestras and ensembles around Europe such as Wohldorf-Ohlstedt Hamburg (GER), PAS (Pleasure Arts and Science, NETH), Summartónar (Faroe Islands), Magich Maastricht (NETH), Adams Flute Festival (NETH), Kerkrade Wind Festival (NETH), Música als Parcs (SPA), Orquestra Agrupació Musical de Menorca (SPA), the Orquestra de Cambra del LICEU (SPA), MAM Orchestra (NETH), Orquesta Sinfónica de Ávila (SPA), Vitrac Ensemble (SPA), Aalborg Symphony Orchestra with Aura Duo (DEN), Aarhus Symfoniorkester (DEN), Den Jyske Opera (DEN) and Ensemble Hermes (DEN). She has performed in great halls including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, el Palau de la Música Catalana, l’Auditori de Barcelona and the Theater aan het Vrijthof Zuid Nederland
